Dad is putting the engine in the Wrangler tomorrow (supposedly), so I'm going to drive down to Bowie. I figured I'd stop by the old Marlboro Raceway !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and if they actually hold a Cars & Coffee at the old Pit Lane Coffee shop. I'll be in a bright yellow Jeep if you're in the area.

Nope - it was today (Saturday). Or, it would have been if anyone had shown up and the gates were open. I pulled in and the gates were shut, so I called and the gentleman that answered the phone stated it would be on next week instead. I'm going to give it one more chance until I call BS on the track being back open.

HEY I call the number listed at around 5:30 today and asked if the event was still on and the guy who answered said it's cancelled - they're still doing clean-up on the road back there. I can confirm that there were crews there last week, but it seems like this is never going to fucking happen. Sigh. I'll be there next week though.
